the deal with german castrol
the deal with german castrol ok i remember all the hype back in the day about german castrol...long story short, my lt1 is long gone, a good buddy of mine just picked one up and i have 8 quarts of "german castrol" in my garage i was going to give him, since the weight is a beleive....0w 30 or 0w40 or something rediculous he isnt too sure about it. if any of you guys running this in your ls1s lt1s etc give some opinions and insight on this. thanks
Not sure about LT1's but it does really well in LS motors. I've been using it for 2 years without any issues. It's labeled as 0W30 but most people will tell you that the viscosity is closer to a 5W30.

It's a very good quality oil. Use it with confidence. It's a 30wt, plain and simple. There's so much written about it, 2 minutes worth of search would tell you anything you need to know.
