power cut at 4k

my car is cutting power at about 4-5k. engine light flashes and service vehicle light comes on. when takin it easy it drives fine.not quite sure what to do

also according to hp tuners, it threw an abs code cant remember what and u1096

let me be a little more specific...whether its WOT or slowly revved up, in gear or neural, when it his about 4k it just instantly chokes out. the instant it chokes out, the ses light kicks on and off real quick. and the tach and speedo soemtimes go nuts. the speedo sometimes jumps all around(not sweep) and the tach sometimes freezes at 4k

Sounds like you have a crank position sensor issue. Or cam position sensor.
