99 ls1 camaro MAJOR ISSUES
99 ls1 camaro MAJOR ISSUES got a bunch of issues going on with my 99 z28.. Its throwing 8 codes.. I wrote them down and left it at work.. just wanna get the thread started.. the ones it was throwing i remember.. was an oxygen sensor, tcc lockup, shift solenoid, bout 4 different codes for transmission, and egr code, injector circuit open code.. Also the cooling fans were working only on low speed and quit completely its the like the car has a bad ground somewhere on the left side but ive traced it all down and came up with nothing.. Also the car stumbles and misses horribly.. idles at 1000rpm then down to 850 where its set at.. and the torque converter feels like its stuck in lockup mode.. Just yesterday it ran great.. i pulled out from work and it just started missing, cutting out, and breakin up real bad.. then didnt want to shift gears, so i drove 1 mile back to work parked it and been looking for issues.. i tried shaking all the wires on that side around with the car crunk.. tried moving the pcm around, battery connections.. .. its almost like it runs ok for a sec then goes back to runnin crappy.. it also makes a banging noise taht sounds like the headers are hitting against the kmember.. im thinking torque converter has crapped out.. as im running a cam with stock converter.. but curious as to why all the other codes would be thrown and why the engine itself runs so poorly. now.. ANY SUGGESTIONS?? ill post the exact codes its throwing tomorrow when i get to work..!!

The codes that the car is pulling is :
p0200 injector circuit open
p0443 evap
p0480 cooling fan control circuit
p0481 cooling fan 2 control circuit
p0740 tcc circuit malfunction
p0785 shift timing solenoid malfunction
p1860 manufacturer transmission control
it comes up with an oxygen sensor code as well if i let it idle for awhile after resetting the stored codes

my ecm went out in my '02 SOMSS. take the ecm out and tap on it with the plastic end of a screwdriver or whatever you have handy. see if that makes it stumble like its doing or makes it run good if already running bad. mine was cutting out 3 cylinders, had to fight the reverse lock out, no cruise control, no a/c. tapped on ecm and everything worked. tapped again all quit again. not sure if pcm's for less is still in business but thats where i got mine from. good luck.
Take the radiator cap off and drive a new car under it.

Right out of the box........loose PCM-to-engine ground wire. It happened to me 6 months ago.....fried my PCM and things were going nuts for a little while before.

pulled every connection on car blew it out plugged it all back up.. FIRED right up.. Hell i even have traction control now and i havent had it working for over a year lol.. I knew it was wiring issue cuz its everything on the left side of the car going out.. just had to track it down.. Thanks for help!

That's good to hear! Did you clean the connections or just blow out with air? The only time I've personally seen a bunch of codes at once (on a Ford SUV) was when the positive battery terminal had some corrosion - 6 codes at once.
