Default passenger window wont go down

The passenger window is up and will not go down. the power window switch on both the driver and passenger dorrs does nothing. Is the problem one of the switches, a motor, or is there a realay or fuse. The riverside window is fine.

This is a 2000 trans am convertible

thanks
Roman

Was your window going up and down slow before it stopped working? If so, then the motor is most likely the culprit.

Wait like a half hour or so and then go back to the window-does it work now, even if slowly? If that's the case then it's your motor. If it still doesn't work let us know...

GM window motors are absolutely horrid. Both of mine have burned out, and it seems all F body window motors burn out sooner or later. My first assumption would have to be the motor. Kind of pricey to replace too, unfortunately.

The guy I bought my last Trans Am from replaced both window motors before I bought it.

Thank god he did. My FIRST trans am had a slower moving drivers side window.. always went up - but made me nervous.
