I just bought a 98 trans am and it's somewhat bumpy? I konw there's something wrong because I had a 99 firebird V6 and it was much smoother. I don't really feel it when it's going 0-35 mph but on the freeway its feels much worse.
I know it's the front end alignment or the steering because the car goes perfectly straight and I know it's not my engine because it's smooth at idle and has no Service Engine Soon Light. My tires and wheels are also okay. When I'm on the freeway and I take my foot off the gas it gets really noticeable but if I speed up i don't feel it vibrate, I just feel the bump bump like I'm running over a bunch of plywood on the freeway.

driveshaft/ujoints, i put in an aluminum one in my 96 and it vibrated my fillings out of my teeth until i centered it in the yoke, apparently those little **** are there for a reason...haul *** and kick it in neutral and see what it does... mine did it bigtime on deceleration...
