Replacement glass windshields question for those that have had their's replaced or know the answer do the aftermarket windshields come with the black paint around the edges?
Can this paint be removed? or the windshield be ordered without it?

Cant be ordered without it. Terribly hard to remove it, if its even possible at all without digging into the glass. maybe it can be sand blasted, then repolished. Doubt it. Its backed into the glass surface, not just sprayed on.

you wouldnt want to remove it anyway... underneath that is all sealant and adhesive... i know because my black stuff has a streak in it on the lower pass corner (replacement?) and i can see all the nasty **** underneath it...
