Lost power plugging a vacuum leak??
Hey everyone, very confused here. I had been tryin to track down a vacuum leak for a couple of days now. Well, i found it then immediately plugged it up. Idle dropped by a couple hundred rpm as to be expected, all is well. Anyway, i went out on the highway soon afterward to see if there may have been any difference in the way the car ran. There was a difference alright, the car seemed noticeably slower versus having the vacuum leak open. I'm perplexed by this lol, any opinions on the matter?

Fuel trims may need time to relearn after having supplied extra fuel to cover the leak. You can reset the trims quicker with a battery disconnect, or just let them relearn over time.

Thanks RPM, i figured that may be what i need to do. I drove immediately after plugging the leak, so i imagine that it didn't have any time to adjust to the change(guess i was too hasty lol). I'll go reset the pcm and take a lil drive.
