Default Need Help!

After digging around I think I have found why my Service Vehicle Light is on. I scanned my TA and got these codes:

B0026 Driver Front Deployment Loop Open
B1001 Option Configuration Error
U1301 Class 2 Data High or Low Volts
U1040 Loss of EBCM Communications
U1096 Loss of IPC Communications

I tried clearing the codes, but B0026 and B1001 seem to be staying current. Any insite? Are all of these codes related?

Id also like to add that the "Air Bag" light does not flash 7 times when the ignition is put in the Run position like it is supposed to, and it does light up at all for that matter.

Please help! I dont even know where to start. I have access to Mitchell On Demand at work to help me out. I printed out alot of information, but any help as to where to start would be greatly appreciated..!

Have you ever been in an accident and was the light on when you bought the car?

The car has never been in an accident and the light was on when I bought the car. The light was on when the previous owner bought the car used from a dealership back in 06'.

To my knowledge the Air Bag light would be on and STAY on if any of the air bags ever went off. My light is not on, and doesn't even flash 7 times like its supposed to when the ignition is turned ON.

I just looked up B1001 in my factory service manual and it says that its triggered when the airbag codes don't match what is programmed in the PCM. The B0026 is a bad connection in the circuit. The catch is... that your Air Bag light should be on and the system is deactivated when you have either codes!!!

So, my theory is:
- The car got messed up at one point in its past.
- The airbag was replaced by a shade tree mechanic who also disabled your air bag light.
- Your airbag is not functional right now at all.
- Another issue may be out there with a connection or part in the system.
