Heater Problems.
Heater Problems. I need to fix my Heater ASAP.. Last week we dropped to about 0F and I am without a heater. I already check and replaced the thermostat. It is still blowing cold. Is there something I should look for or repair. Thanks
Pull the return hose off the heater core and check for flow, if you are getting flow, and your sure the thermostat is good (in the cold use a 180 degree thermostat) then you may have a selector swithing problem on the climate control panel.
Can someone point me to where the Heater core is. Its been really cold and would like to go out and know exacly where it is. Thanks. I have a feeling it might be a problem with the selector switch.
Passengers side, above the kick panel.
I'm not sure if the vacuum operates the cold/heat....like it does the vent selection ****.....but check the vacuum lines on the back of the intake. The one that protrudes towards the passengers side is the one. Also, check the black plastic "T" fitting located near the PCM, make sure its not cracked or any of the lines have fallen off.

Do the 2 heater hoses (coming/going from/to the water pump) get hot...?
The cold/heat **** is cable operated, as you turn it it should "feel heavy" and you should hear the cold/hot door/flap moving.
