what is this? (engine bay)

what is this? (engine bay) ok so egr/air is removed and i did bmr's throttle body bypass kit, other wise just bolt on's and stock motor... what is the piece that is to the left of the throttle body, and directly left of the throttle cable half circle thingy... bolted it seems to the metal coolant line, there is a large black wire with a metal "c" shaped strip, that looks cut...
WHAT IS IT PLEASE??? im clueless... and can i take it off? or do i need to fix something there?

thats a ground for ur pcv valve,pull the rubber boot off the pcv valve.clip that around it and put the rubber boot over that clip.

its actually a heat tranfer strap that keeps the PCV warm....hot? .......to reduce condensation in the PCV system......but in time it becomes a razor blade that slices into the boot that holds the PCV
