hmmm... does the noise get any louder if you roll onto the gas? Does the sound become more obvious under a load? if not its starting to sound possibly like wheel bearing now. is it kind of a droning sound? like big mud tires goin down the road

Its changes depending if the throttle is on or off, and not how much i push the throttle. It is a droning sound at certain speeds, and a wom wom sound on decell.

wheel bearing is a possibility. i don't know, someone who has a more experienced ear would have to hear it. also, when I put that additive stuff in to the diff, i didn't make a damn difference.

Read your sig, nowhere does it say 9" rear. Being that you have the mods you do, I'm sure you drive it accordingly. Your rear end is shot. Time for an upgrade...

ok heres what you do. get under the car and see if you can move the pinion flange at all, try and move it up down or side to side...it should have no play, any play means the pinion has loosened up and its time for new pinion bearings!

sounds like axle bearings! (had mine rebuilt and theyre doing the same thing 2 years later) get a friend to sit back there while driving and listen for one side or centrally located sound...
