Driveline removal

On a m6 car will the drive line clear the torque arm and exhaust to come out or does the torque arm have to be removed. I know on my 86 it squeezed by but do you on the LS1 cars? I'm gonna change the U joints.

Not sure if it HAS to be removed, but I took the torque arm out anyways to make it easier. Plus it was pretty nasty so it got a good brake cleaner bath...
