stalling shortly after startup
stalling shortly after startup Ok, lately when i start up the car it starts up normal, but then wants to shut off. To keep it from shutting off, i goose it a little bit and that seems to help if i catch it in time. If i idle it at 1200RPM for 5 min most of the time it'll be fine. Sometimes it'll die while the car is stopped. Not throwing any codes. But the low coolant light is on, even after i swapped the sensor.
Today it did sometime strange on top of that. When i was driving and it wanted to cut off, the temp gauge dropped to zero. then it would come back and the car acted normal, then it would drop and the car wanted to stall again.
I thought the problem was the fuel pump so i bought a racetronix, and I'm about to install that in 30 minutes, but could it be something else?
FYI: it started after the sparkplugs were changed, but the engine still runs normal. Also, the car sat in storage for 6 months this winter.
any ideas?

So it wasn't the fuel pump but it drastically reduced the number of occurrences...
I still think it's either electrical or related to coolant temp gauge somehow. Anyone figure what could be causing the stalling, and why would "goosing-it" pull it out of a potential stall?

Bump! Nobody for days can figure out if maybe it's an electrical issue or something else? Could it be the fuel pump wiring? Water pump wiring? Any comments or questions apretiated...
