Car died completely last night

Default Car died completely last night
I was driving last night and all of a sudden everything went dark. My headlights turned off, my stereo, and the engine itself. It was as if someone launched an EMP at my car kind of like in war of the worlds. The car doesn't turn over, it doesnt do a single thing! i put the key in, checked the fuses and nothing i can see wrong. It just does not want to do anything. Doesnt even turn over. Please help me, i have no clue where to start. Thanks

start with taking the battery to an auto parts store to get it charged/checked

Unless your PCM literally took a **** on you.......I'd say you lost your alternator, then the battery dried up and the thing quit.

But....right before it shut off, did you notice things flickering or dying slowly?

Nope. Thats the thing. Nothing happened before it died. Nothing dimmed, nothing flickered.

The main power cable to the battery came out. Problem solved. Hooray!
