Misfire/back fire/vail system issue

Misfire/back fire/vail system issue I'm having this issue with misfire and all that I read doesn't seem to be my issue , I was at bbr about a week ago and jeremy heard the ticking noise I've been talking about , and told me that either one of my valves is bent or bad springs, I was like and possibly bad rocker arms too , it's just so odd because this car has 67600 its a 02 camaro z28 m6 I run royal purple in it , I asked him about the back fire and miss fire and told me that could that the valve/spring issue could be the cause. I dont have rear o2s not cats my pcm has been tuned the fronts look good though , it only misfires at idle and kinda lags from a low rpm then is ok once your on the higher end , I have msd wires stock coils.
Any one know if the springs or valves could cause this?
I'm planning on getting new rocker arms springs valves (rollers if I need them)and push rods. But I have no clue on what to get I need help on this
but jeremy told me I could that he new a guy that would like port n polish my heads for about 200 if i did that wouldnt that change my specs for the valves?
I know this is long but I really want to get this issue done and over with and done right the first time , way I've always been and only way to do it . PLEASE HELP ME SOME ONE !!!!

Would make sense ,but I'm throwing a knock sensor code now for some reason It just started again it will come on and go away after I put my cat back on it came back on I haven't seen the code since I got my tune which was like 6 or more months ago and those sensors just got replaced about a year ago at that , but whats odd is my sensors are a very nice color no signs of lean or rich so its weird , any other ideas that I may need to consider along with this?
