rattle in the rear

rattle in the rear ok so for a long time now while driving and hitting small bumps or rumble strips something in the back of the car rattles like hell and now its more irritating then anything else. anyone got any idea what it may be

Look under the rear carpet for like batteries or some b/s rolling around if it sounds like its in the car. Could be a million things, maybe have someone else drive the car while you ride in the back with the seats down and listen over bumps.

I have no spare tire or jack in there I took it all out. The amp is tight. My hatch is tight the only thin I can think of is the spoiler on the back I can pull it up some maybe that might be it? I tightened that as much as I could an still the sound is there.

Check the hanger for the exhaust pipe that goes over the axel and panhard bar. Mine used to bang around a lot, the hanger rattled and sometimes the pipe would hit the body... but I finally got it all adjusted and tight. Gotta love putting together your own exhaust.
