My car would not start last night (crank but not fire up). I read that it was maybe the ignition relay and to swap it with another relay. I open up the fuse boxes and wonder how to pull that 1" X 1" plastic relay down in the fuse box without screwing anything else up. I try a few things and scratch my head. Wait, my computer tool kit has a chip puller. Would that work? I dig it out and after some bending to make it fit the relay it work perfectly! I know that not everyone has a PC repair kit laying around (or that it has a chip puller) but I thought I would pass on the tip.
The car did start after that but I am not 100% sure it was the relay. I will replace it anyway.
