another CEL code? what is this one about?

another CEL code? what is this one about? is this effecting my Air conditioning or is this fuel system related? my ac has been diagnosed and its been checked for leaks via the UV and its been filled with refrigerant , the AC cuts off after 5 minutes of use.

I'm confused, is 79 the OBDI code? That's trans fluid overtemp. Only thing close I can think of for that desctiption is 71, evap temp sensor circuit. It's a history code so I'd try clearing it and see what happens.

This is an OBDI code.
Two suggestions:
- You should take your car to get the A/C checked ASAP. Your compressor may be going out and not holding the correct pressures. (This would cause your A/C temperatures to be out of range.) If that's the case, you'll want to replace it before it blows and causes you a more expensive repair.
- Go to Helm and get the Factory Service Manual for your car. (You may also find cheaper used ones on eBay.) There will be full descriptions for each of your codes and instructions on how to diagnose the problems.
