Default Roaring Noise in the Rear

Hey I have an 02 Z28 manual 6 spd and I have been hearing a roaring noise in the back. I had really bald tires in the rear so I decided to get 2 new ones. Throw them on the front and put the front old ones on the back considering the still had a lot of tread life on them. The noise is still there. It's a constant noise while I'm accelerating but is gone at idle. Any ideas ?

Could very well be bad wheel bearings. When I went to buy my 99 TA, there was a horrible roaring noise coming from the back. It was the right rear wheel bearing and they replaced it and all is well now.

Yeah it's not a wheel bearing cause thats more of a howling noise. I've heard bad wheel bearings on cars. It's almost as if its a rotating noise and gets a little louder at one point though.
