P0300 misfire HELP!
P0300 misfire HELP! i have had the car for about a month. has run fine until yesterday. it rained for the first time in months but humidity shouldnt play a role.
the car- 99 a4 ram air TA all stock, no mods. 200k on the car,eng, and trans. the trans has about 9k miles since rebuilt.
the problem- when you first start the engine (cold) there is a misfire, eng runs rough, sounds like pinging exhaust leak, rpm's fluctuate up and down 500-900. and the water temp gauge moves up and down almost even with the rpm's
when the eng is warm it happen intermittently, misfires has no power, some times tries to die and will clean up on its own and drive like normal
i have unplugged the maf to see if it will run better off the map sensor, no change, i changed plugs and wires, no change, now im stuck, PLEASE HELP!!
