Hey guys , I just had some SLP LT`s ( New Design ) Headers installed on my Hawk this week , picked it up last night from my friends shop when I took it for a test drive it threw a code p0404 ( EGR ) now I have done some research and is says to clean the EGR valve , what is the best way I should do this ? or should I replace it ? BTW has anyone had similar issues after a header install ?

Excessive deposits on the EGR pintle or seat - Remove the EGR valve and inspect for deposits that may interfere with the EGR valve pintle extending completely or cause the pintle to stick.

Never mind , found a small piece of metal in the egr now the car runs fine !
