Default Control Panel Bezel

I need to replace my window control panel bezel but can't seem to get the switches out of the damn panel. Is there a special tool for this?

Screwdriver and pry. The catch is that the plastic gets brittle over time and may break. If you are replacing the bezel, maybe that isn't an issue?

Less expensive and easier to assemble. If it works just as good as something that is made with more plastic, requires more steps to install, and works just as good in the end - one (probably an engineer) could make the argument that its a great design.
