Default Yet another turn signal issue...help

I have a 99 z28. I've read different posts and compared some of my problems to theirs. It's just easier to post my symptoms and get a diagnosis.

Problem:

Right turn signal indicator clicks but not flash in the cluster, most likely not a problem though. The rear signals work perfect still flash just as they should. Front signals will not flash at all, not with the turn signal and not with the hazards. Rears also work with hazards. I replaced all the bulbs and the turn signal flasher still not flashing in the front signals. The lights do stay lit when the car is running just no flashing. Let me know what your thoughts are to fix this. Thanks guys.

What did the socket look like? I had a similar problem with mine and it turned out the socket was all corroded on one of the connections, so the light would come on but it wouldn't blink. I just cleaned it out and used a screwdriver to bend the metal contacts back to the proper positions (after unhooking the battery of course).

there was alittle corrosion. I'll clean them out again. I'm willing to try anything to fix this. It's frustrating. Thanks for the help on the subject. Any other fixes out there?

Looks like sockets are getting hot and melting the bulb. New sockets fix the problem?
