Question power seat not working?

my drivers power seat is not working on my 99 trans am, is there a way to override it so I can move it? I am guessing its the motor since there is no blown fuses? thanks

There's a connector under the carpet that sometimes can get corroded if water gets on it. My car was the same way when I got it

Pull up the chair and take a look at everything, it's pretty easy. 4 nuts around it, with plastic covers that you have to remove. Then just pull up and disconnect the cords and check everything out. I'd say babbage is correct, look for corrosion

Easier test - see if the rear window defroster works. If not, its a bad breaker - just replace and everything will work. (The two share the same breaker on the fuse panel.)

just had the same problem and it was the ground wire, the wire broke off connector, its located under the carpet close to the front left bracket of the drivers seat. good luck
