Default driver power window problem

ok so how do i determine if its the window motor itself, the switch or the regulator that went bad? i have an 02 ws6-- i thought the motor was going bad cuz the window would stop going up after a few and then it would go up and now it stopped completely and makes like a buzzing noise when i hit the button.... what to do

This is textbook motor failure.

Where is the buzzing coming from? Under the dash or in the door? Could you describe the buzzing as grinding?

You have to take the door apart. The grinding could be the motor coming separated form the regulator. (Lots of people use bolts to put in replacement motors, which can come apart.) This could be your only issue or it could be part of the problem with a balky motor - but this is what you'll need to fix first.
