removed coolant temp sensor by mistake
So I was changing header gaskets on my 93 Z28, but accidentally broke the little sensor there. I removed it and this is before I knew what it was and coolant came out. I quickly moved a pan into place and truth be told, not much seemed to come out. I got a new sensor and installed it.
How do I go about adding coolant now? Should I just poor some into the radiator and then bleed the system or do I need to flush the whole thing?
Sorry if its vague I tried to explain the best I can, please help me I'm still a bit of a nood with all this so I'm learning.
Thanks

thanks, I checked the resovoir when cold and it was low, so I added a 50/50 mixture and that fixed it. However when I started it I don't I tightened the y-pipe enough.
