Flashed HIDs and lost the ignition relay?
Flashed HIDs and lost the ignition relay? So last night had to flash my hi beams at some drunk barreling down at me.
I have 50watt hid kit in my low beams.
This morning car didn't want to start so i did the usual checking fuses.
I unpluged/ pluged the ignition fuse and swapped the igniiton relay with ac relay.
The car fired up.
My hid kit doesn't have a relay, i just wired it to stock wiring harness.
Could the HIDs have caused this or was the relay just on its death bed?

Could be either. What I would suggest doing though is wiring up the high beams so that your lows stay on along with the highs.
