Default Headlight Question *I read the sticky*

So my headlight wobbles and I believe I found the source of the wobble. My girlfriends mom has a firebird and when her headlight flips up you can not move it. This is a 2002 firebird. Mine is a 99 trans am and the light will move. I looked down at the arm and there is a bolt that tightens the pivot arm down and it is loose but i do not see a way to tighten it. any insight?

jacobsoup-

I have the exact same problem and it is the exact thing you pointed out. No way to tighten that little sucker. looks like a rivet I think but NOT! Mine has been doing this for 10 years. It's annoying when I am on dark roads. There is a thread on here somewhere with some suggestions. I just can't seem to locate it right now.

I have bigger fish to fry! I am in the middle of a power steering core and outer tie rod swap.

Ya I didn't think it was the gear. Well I feel for you. Car problems suck ya I'm thinking of drilling out rivet and putting a bolt and nut in there. I'll post pics if it goes well
