eng fan prob.

Hey guys I have a 02 TA and just put race headers on it not too long ago. When I put the headers on I removed the AIR pump (have not gotten the TA tuned). Today I was driving the car and noticed that the cooling fans are not working. I checked the fuses and the relays and all seems good. I was wondering if they are not working because it has something to do with the AIR pump being removed??

Any help would be great at this point

thats not really likely, sounds like a loose connector somewhere, esp since you were working in the engine bay recently

look at the plugs on the fans first (you probably already did, but just in case.) then trace those harnesses as far back as you can looking for exposed wiring, loose grounds, anything like that.

Ok I went back and checked the plugs on the fans and fuses etc. again. I also tried and trace it back and check out the other wires and they seemed fine. I checked the grounds and cleaned them up. So I guess my next assumption would be that the fan motors are bad. How often do the fan motors go out in our cars (the car doest get driven much, it just rolled over 21K)?
