Question Wheel well help

My front left wheel well is cracked and when I lock the steering one direction the tire snags on the plastic and makes a loud popping noise. My real concern is the problem getting worse when I lower it. How do I fix it, duck tape didn't work lol.

I thought the wheel well was part of the fender. Where are the screws/tabs located? Are there any negatives to taking the well off?

Take the tire off & you'll see all the screws holding the plastic inner fender well in place.
Had both of mine off last winter & it was easy to do.

Probably not really any 'harm' in taking it off, other than having more dirt, slime, & grime get up into the engine bay in a couple areas a little easier.
No big deal really as most of the engine is still protected pretty well without the plastic liner.

Find a replacement on Ebay or the local salvage yards.

It will alter the aerodynamics of the car. It just held on with screws and plastic rivets. Parts of it are attached to the fender.

I don't recall what kind of plastic it is, but odds are that a body shop can weld it for you. (with a plastic welder)
