Wheel well help My front left wheel well is cracked and when I lock the steering one direction the tire snags on the plastic and makes a loud popping noise. My real concern is the problem getting worse when I lower it. How do I fix it, duck tape didn't work lol.
Take the tire off & you'll see all the screws holding the plastic inner fender well in place.
Had both of mine off last winter & it was easy to do.
Probably not really any 'harm' in taking it off, other than having more dirt, slime, & grime get up into the engine bay in a couple areas a little easier.
No big deal really as most of the engine is still protected pretty well without the plastic liner.
Find a replacement on Ebay or the local salvage yards.

I don't recall what kind of plastic it is, but odds are that a body shop can weld it for you. (with a plastic welder)
