Default Drive belt?

99 formula, any tip on replacing the drive(serpentine) belt? Thanks guys.

Loosen the belt from the tensioner. After that it literally will fall off, just start pulling it forward and off all the pulleys. Then put the new one back on the same way. There's also a diagram sticker in the engine compartment to help you. Any pulley that has the channels in it gets that side of the belt....the water pump bell housing gets the flat side of the belt. Then use a ratchet to put tension on the pulley so you can get the new belt over it, thats the last step, then release it. Done.

You don't need to remove the air lid, but it will make things easier. Doing that will probably take longer than replacing the belt, though.

Just put a wrench on the tensioner and turn to push the tensioner down. The belt should slide right off then. Next confirm your new belt is the correct size. There is a sticker on the driver's side shock tower that shows you how to re-route the new one. I like to route it, use a wrench to push the tensioner down again, and then slide the belt over the water pump pulley last.
