Default Help with Current Draw

I have a current draw on my 1998 T/A that is driving me insaine. Im a master technician by trade and for the vey simple system that are on thses cars this is driving me nuts.

My main proplem is it doesn't do it ll the time... When i have a meter on it.. its fine. No problems at all under 15ma. But here the thing whe is does start acting up it must pull a couple of amps becuase it will kill my batter overnight

And to all of you wondering maybe is the battery its not its new acDelco. Im at just looking for help.
I have some suspisions the raidio is somehow activing but I have seen it. either that or the ECM or BCM has a short.

If anyone has experecnced any kind of weired shorts let me know. Im almost afraid to drive it anymore.

Thanks
Steve Thomas

Mods if this would go into a better section go ahead and move it

Default

I would look at the RAP circuit in the BCM or the alternator as possible culprits.
Had both give me intermittant draws many times before.
