headlight highlights

headlight highlights o.k so my highlights did not work, i took the advice of a member on here and cked the swicth the rod goes into to activate and disengauge the light, worked alsome, turns out when you hit the highlights the rod was not going all the way down to click the swicth.
so i take the cover on the side of the colum off to look and see if i could make it thighter by any chance, well when i took the cover off a plastic piece fell out.now the rod is not even moving down....i need help.... does any one here know how the plastic pieces go!!!!
