Default Positive Battery Cable End

Does anyone know if there is a way to put a new end on the positive battery cable? reason i ask is the owner before me cut the stock end off to put one with a terminal on it for power to what i assume is an amp. Anyway it sucks and can touch and ground out things because there is no cover on it. (i've done it a couple times already)

Is there an end i can install on it which will be like stock and have the rubber/plastic covers over it? Or do i need to replace the entire stock cable?

Yep, it's a molded piece.

best thing would be to get a new complete stock cable. 2nd best would be to get a solderable or crimpable side post end and solder or crimp it in place. 3rd would be to just get a new end from a parts store than you just cut and strip your calbe and the new end will have a clamp on it that'll tighten onto your cable.

best bet would be to just get a new factory cable.
