headlight bolts fell out!!!!!!!

Angry headlight bolts fell out!!!!!!!

i have a 2000 trans am and when i was on the highway my driver side headlight fell down!! does anyone know what size the bolts are or where i can find them??? i called a dealer by my house and they said they dont cary them anymore FML!!!!!

I assume you are talking about the headlight door falling down? If so, that's easy because there are no bolts.

The door is held up by an arm, which is riveted to the door. The end attaches to the motor, which is held on by a generic nut available at any parts store.

Maybe the dealer was saying that the door and arm are no longer sold?

Yeah...not sure the thread size but mine is a 10mm wrenching surface. You will probably have to cycle the lights up and down in order to get the mounting arm on the motor into the correct position...unless someone knows a better way to accomplish this.

You take the rubber cover off the top of the motor and turn the manual adjuster to line things up.

Thats the best thing ive heard all week. now maybe I wont burn the motors up trying to line things up
