Gauges question
Gauges question for the past two days i go to start up my Z and the mph and speedo sweep like a c5 and c6 vette would do. it also resets my trip odometer. i live in abilene, tx and its been pretty cold here so i dont know if the temp would have anything to do with it. want to know if anyone else has ran into this problem. thanks guys

Let me guess, the car is a 99? Mine would do that now and then and it would do it everyday when it was colder out. Changed battery and fixed the issue for now, until it's time for a new battery again.

yea its a 99. well thats an easy fix. i just bought it a couple months ago and the previous owner neve said anything about it. but he really never drove it considering i bought it with 33k on it
Probably has the battery from the factory in it still if he never drove it. It's a common issue on 99's. Battery fixed it for me, until this last month before I put my car away for the winter it happened maybe 3 times on mornings when it was below 32 out.
