Whats going on?

Im having problems with my 99 Trans Am with 103k miles on the motor.It was working fine with no problem's until i reved the engine twice when te car was on neutral then after the rpms came down it kinda started reving up then down over and over again.I turned the engine off then left the key switch on the on position for about 5 to 10 min then tried turning it back on and my battery was dead.So i jumped started the car then let it charge for about 25 or 30 min. Then tried taking it out for a spin and punched it a lil and after i let my foot off the gas it started doing the same thing reving hi then low continously and felt like it wanted to turn off?What could this be? Could it be that the computer messed up or maybe the battery?i Had also just recently instaled 2 Resonator's on the dual exhaust system 2 quiet the car down due to te fact it was to damn loud could it be that as well?Please help.......

No engine codes? CEL, etc.

Could b a few different things i would take it somewhere and have it scaned !

Have the PCV system checked out, that could be a possible cause.

check for a bent push rod .time for a new valve train and cam.

Unbolt the battery and let the PCM reset. If your battery is not good get a new one. This will cause all sorts of problems you wouldn't believe.

What was your voltage gauge doing while the surging was going on? (I wonder if its a bad alternator.)

sorry didnt check the volatge gauge but i will n i was thinking the same thing cuz ther was a pullie noise tha was coming from the engine i was thinking it could be coming from the alternator?
