Default wiper problems

hello all I have owned my lt1 since high school and have started trying to fix some misc. issues that have been bugging me and this is one of them. The windshield wipers sometimes will not go to the "home" position in the cowl, they stop right in the middle of the windshield. The speeds and delay all seems to be working fine. Its very annoying to me, has anyone ever had this problem or know some things for me to check? thanks!

i am not sure if the park switch or module is available as a separate part the motor or not. that could be your problem. i forget how to check them to see what the problem is, i am sure someone here knows. there may also be other parts that work the wipers that could be the problem.

i had this exact problem with my gtp, and the problem is that there is a small tab on the wiper motor assembly that puts them in the park position, and this tab is bent, bent back and have had no problems for 2 yrs.
