Anyway to adjust this gap?
I put a new weatherstrip on awhile back from a newer SS and I'm getting water coming in around the side mirror. I found out it's coming from the gap.Are there anyway to adjust it? It appears that the weatherstrip doesn't have a big as a lip as the old one did. Excuse the left over sealer,I had to put it there to keep the flood out of the car.

Can't tell from the picture, but it looks like there is a gap that gets wider at the top. If so, take the door panel off and check this first:

If you don't have the problem above, you'll want to keep the door panel off and can slightly adjust the front window top stop with a 10mm wrench.

The window seals fine at the top. It's just that bottom piece that is suppose to seal up against the door seal that has the gap. You can see the lip that should seal against it.

Ok ,I got it fixed. There are two 10mm that holds the top of the mirror bracket and one 10mm below. I loosened them and then I was able to adjust it to close the gap.
