Default Car Hops in drive

Ok this is a question about my DD 2003 Blazer. Ive never felt anything like this before and am wondering what it could be
Problem:
1. Car in Drive at a complete stop w/foot on brake
2. Take foot off brake and let it roll while in drive
3. It doesnt roll smooth, it kind of hops along
But once I give it gas it drives as smooth as it ever has

I recently replaced my Crank Sensor and that fixed a misfire I had and a transmission slip so im wondering if the miss left any damage behind

ive never felt a car hop while coasting in drive so im hoping someone here has, my first guess would be something brake related? Thanks for the help

it sounds like a sticky brake caliper, check for uneven pad wear.

Did you resolve your problem, I experienced same kind of issue on my son's car and all kind of bad thoughts went thru my mind until I could get it to the shop and inspect it. I put it on a lift expecting transmission or axle problem and all it ending up being was front tire with bad belt. I would look at all my tires closely if you haven't yet, what do you have to lose?

I havent had a chance to actually fix it, but it turns out that my misfire is in the distributor not from the crank sensor, so I think its just knocking from the miss, thanks everyone for your help tho. If I replace the distributor and still feel it I will definitely come back and check all of this

Glad you got it resolved. Alway make sure the engine is in running order before assuming its the transmission.
