advice please.. i have a 99 ls1 TA. 79k. The oil pump went out and after replacing it i heard a ticking. took it to a mechnic that specializes in ls1/lt1. he says i have a collapsed lifter and he can fix it for under 1500. that includes everything. what do you guys think?
