Car wont start... Is it VATS?

Car wont start... Is it VATS? I know there are tons of postings about The VATS and Bypassing it, etc. Ive come to the conclusion that the problem with my car is requiring me to bypass the vats, but one thing keeps throwing me off. Everyone keeps describing my exact problem except they keep saying there Security light stays solid, mine was staying solid then i tried my other set of keys and it started flashing, then I went back to the original keys and got flashing. Then I tried a couple more times and it would stay solid, flash, solid, flash. It was all over the place with being solid or flashing. Does anyone think this could still be the same issue? Please help my car is left parked on the side of the road!!!!!!
