Default HVAC diagnosis

Had a new LS3 Motor installed in my 00 Camaro, The AC is not working, I turn the switch-not hearing the compressor turn on, I can hear air rushing through the vents but not blowing through Initially the plug that connects to the compressor was not connected but I plugged it in and same results. Any heads up as to what the issue may be would help b4 I go to AC Mechanic-The AC blew cold and worked fine b4 the engine swap.

THANKS IN ADVANCE

Hmmm good point I have to ask the engine builder, but would that effect whether the compressor would turn on?

Yes if there's no freon the pressure sensors will detect that and disable the compressor clutch to keep from damaging the compressor
