possible power steering problem

Default possible power steering problem

01 trans am. between 40-55 mph the steering wheel shakes back and fourth all on its own. Is it my power steering pump telling me its on its way out. Does it at different speeds but the most at those speeds. Help would be appreciated. Thanks

gonna take a shot in the dark, and say youve evither got a slipped belt in one of your tires, theyre extremly out of balance, or yourve got a bent wheel...more than likley the tires are junk..

Thanks for the response. I dont think its that, the front tires are new and balanced
