Default new A/C comp not engaging

hey guys, i got a new ac compressor and motor at the same time and it worked GREAT for like 5k miles. my ac compressor is simply not engaging. air is blowing from the correct vents and the system has correct charge of charge. i think i just have a problem somewhere between the battery through the hvac, fuse relay and finally to the ac comp.
i have checked the plug on the compressor itself and it is plugged it just fine. i checked the fuse.
what else could it be? it just quit engaging the other day.

any suggestions would be great. and quick help is best as i have a 6hr drive tomorrow and it hot as hell in Louisiana and Texas right now

Thanks alot!

well, id start by checking to see if the refrigerant hasnt leaked out...the ac compressor will not start up if theres not enough charge...

secondly, you can check your circuits by unplugging the pressure switch and jumping the terminals together while the car is running, if everything checks ok, the clutch for the ac compressor will engage.
