Default Passenger Window stuck..Need Help

As stated in the title my pass side window is stuck down,I do have abut 3 inches of the window actually showing but other than that when i press down on the switch it will go down about an inch then make a loud clicking noise, when i press up on the switch it will go back up about an inch then also make a clicking noise. Is the motor any good?It is making that noise I hear like its trying to work.I did read around a little bit about the motor and regulator coming loose so maybe that can be the cause, any of u guys ever experience this?I also noticed the window started going up and down a little slower than what it normally does and then today is when it actually got stuck,we have some rain coming so I'm going to bag up the window for now lol.I was going to get a new motor but just wanted to hear yall opinions first.

Default window motor/regulator assembly

Same thing happened to me a few days ago, thankfully I only had about an inch gap. Advance sells a motor/regulator assembly by Dorman for about $120. I'm puting mine in tomorrow lol. I figured while I've got it apart put all new parts in and be ready for 200,000+ more miles.

Not needed. The shbox method for a motor install is all that's needed. (Its the easiest and least expensive way to get this done.

If you re-install the regulator, you will need special rivets from GM and an industrial sized door riveter. Without this, the regulator will tear apart the door.
