Default fluid on engine block

i was replacing my alternator on my 2000 z28 and noticed a ton of fluid below the engine. I goes back to the tranny as well. I don't notice any place where it is leaking. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and where are some typical trouble spots I can look at.

I cant tell. smells like oil and power steering fluid. I checked the level on both. It seems to be fine though.
