TA DRL problem
TA DRL problem I replaced my driver's side DRL socket a few weeks ago because it was corroded and wouldn't function anymore. Got the new socket it and put in a brand new bulb. Lights up just fine in daytime mode. But when I turn on my headlights it gets dimmer but will not flash.
The green turn signal arrow stays lit on the dash at all times that the lights are turned on. It's annoying because I can't use my left blinker at night. Double checked the socket, tried a new bulb, cleaned the rust off the old connections, nothing seems to work. I looked at old threads and couldn't get a definite answer. Also replaced the fuse and it didn't help.
Anyone have an idea what the problem might be?

I had the same problem. Changed both DRL sockets/bulbs. Still wouldn't flash. Then a buddy of mine said one of my taillight bulbs was out. Changed that and problem solved.
This may not work for you, but it's something you can check on. If the problem still persists, you may need to change your flasher module.
Plenty of people on here have write-ups on steps to take to troubleshooting this problem. Google "DRL ls1tech" and you should find all the info you need to get started.

Only happens on drivers side. Checked tail lights already too, wasn't them. I thought it might be the flasher but why would the flash in drl mode but not when I have the headlights on?
