Default Help with hesitation

I just bought a 99 camaro z28. Car is auto with 104000 miles. My issue is normal driving the car has a hesitation around the shift points. WOT there is no hesitation and when I unplugged the MAF there was none. Could it be the MAF or the O2s

If the problem goes away when you unplug the MAF, that's the issue. Try cleaning it, a can of MAF cleaner costs about $7. Check the wires, too, that they're all connected and not shorted or grounded out. Best case scenario, cleaning the MAF takes care of it. Worse case, you have to replace the MAF.

Even when you run in speed density mode, the car will still take input from the O2 sensors once it switches to closed loop.

Thanks for the reply. It was the MAF. Man it runs like a different car now.
