Seat Issue

Both me (99 firebird) and my friend (96 firebird) have this same problem, can someone point me to a write-up on how to fix it and about how much is it to fix?

I'd say get down there and check that the bolts that hold the seat back to the bottom are tight.

You have the same problem, because its normal.

The seats did that from the factory.

There's just a little play in the seat back release mechanism. If there wasn't, the seat would be so tight on the release lever that it would be hard to release it and move the seat back forward for people to get in to the rear seats.
